Types of Foxo Notifications
Foxo sends out a number of notifications to ensure you don't miss any important activity. In this article, we give you a quick overview of the different notifications for the desktop app:
1. Unread Count

For any new Message or important new activity in a Team Chat, or important activity related to a Case or Patient Card, we'll keep a count of them for you.
2. Toast
You'll also receive an instant in-app toast notification when you receive a new Message and for any other important activity (i.e. someone has claimed your Case, you've been mentioned in a Team or Group Chat etc.) The toast notification shows a preview of the message or activity and will appear in the top right corner on your Foxo screen.
3. Push Browser Notification

If you haven't read the new Message or if you haven't seen any of the new activity after 30 seconds, you'll be notified via a push notification, which will be displayed in the bottom right corner of your screen.
4. Email
Foxo also sends out email notifications periodically (after 24 hours) for:
- Incoming Cases (if unactioned)
- High Priority and Urgent Referrals / Handovers
- Overall Missed Activity
