How to Update the Foxo Mobile App to the Latest Version

If you're not seeing the latest features or fixes in the Foxo mobile app, you might not be on the most up-to-date version. Here’s how to check and update it on your iPhone.

Step 1: Soft Close the App

🔁 Updates are applied automatically when the app is fully closed and reopened.

iPhone:

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or double-tap the Home button).

  2. Find the Foxo app.

  3. Swipe it upwards to close it completely.

  4. Reopen Foxo from your home screen.

Android:


    1. Tap the Recent Apps button (usually the square or three-line icon).

    2. Swipe the Foxo app off the screen to close it.

    3. Reopen Foxo from your app drawer or home screen.

 

Step 2: Check for Updates in the App Store or Play Store

On iPhone (App Store):

  1. Open the App Store.

  2. Tap your profile icon in the top right corner.

  3. Scroll down to Available Updates.

  4. If Foxo is listed, tap Update.

  5. Tip: Pull down on the screen to refresh the list of updates.

On Android (Google Play Store):

  1. Open the Google Play Store.

  2. Tap your profile icon > Manage apps & device.

  3. Tap Updates available.

  4. If Foxo is listed, tap Update.

  5. Tip: Pull down to refresh if you don’t see it right away.

 

Step 3: Reinstall the App (Optional)

iPhone & Android:

  1. Delete the Foxo app from your device.

  2. Reinstall it from the App Store or Google Play Store.

  3. Open the app and, if needed, soft close and reopen to trigger the latest version.

If you're still not seeing the latest version, reinstalling can help but a soft close may still be needed afterward to apply the most recent build.
